Poster session, Tuesday, September 14, 2021

Ion and Neutron Beam Irradiation of Materials, Nuclear Physics in Medicine

17:10 - 17:30    Rapid-fire poster presentations, short talks (main hall)

The on-line posters (eP1 - eP4) will be presented in the format of a pre-recorded 3-min presentation. All posters will be summarized in one single video followed by an open discussion, via the broadcasting platform (see instructions below).

18:10 - 20:00    Regular on-site posters (foyer)
Each poster will be presented in the allocated poster session.

 

Poster session, WEDNESDAY, September 15, 2021

Nuclear Analytical Methods for Environmental and Cultural Heritage Studies, Ion Beam Analytical Methods in Material Science, Nuclear Physics for Energy and Space Technologies 

15:30 - 16:10    Rapid-fire poster presentations, short talks (main hall)
The on-line posters (iP5 - iP12) will be presented in the format of a pre-recorded 3-min presentation. All posters will be summarized in one single video followed by an open discussion, via the broadcasting platform (see instructions below).

16:10 - 17:00    Regular on-site posters (foyer)
Each poster will be presented in the allocated poster session.



HOW TO PREPARE REGULAR / ONLINE POSTER 

Regular on site poster
The poster would have a size of A0 format 1189 x 841 mm, portrait direction. We recommend the a font sizes
Title: 85 pt
Authors: 56 pt
Sub-headings: 36pt
Body text: 27pt
Captions: 20-24 pt

On-line posters
We kindly ask you to send us your presentation in a video format 16:9, narrative presentation (MP4, AVI, MPEG, etc.) no later than August 30, 2021.
Please follow the guidelines described below to prepare your narrated presentation in the Microsoft PowerPoint app:

  1. Open your finalized file presentation (please include your poster number in the initial slide of your presentation)

  2. Select Slide Show > Record Slide Show

  3. When ready, select Record and start speaking

  4. You can manage your recording using the Pause, Stop, Replay and Clear functions as well as the Pen, Highlighter and Erase tools

  5. After finishing the recording, please save your presentation and export it as an mp4 (i.e. video) file

  6. Please send the file to amca@amca.cz or via WeTransfer by August 30, 2021.

Broadcasting:
Pre-recorded poster presentations will be streamed according to the program. A moderated discussion with authors will take place after the whole session of rapid-fire poster presentations.
The authors will be connected to the virtual room before the poster session to activate their camera and microphone. Please, be prepared to answer a questions during the discussion.

Poster Layout 
We recommend to prepare the video aspect ratio of 16:9.
